Santa Fe Folk Art Market

Make a note that Santa Fe Folk Art Market will again happen this year from July 14-15, 2007. The two day market, held on Museum Hill, has a purpose of fostering economic and cultural sustainability for folk artists and folk art worldwide.

The market hosts over 100 artists from dozens of countries. Last year I met several of the Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art buying a number of wonderful pieces and finding beautiful Peruvian fabrics from the rain forest which I had framed for Casa Las Artes in Santa Fe. For information go to www.folkartmarket.org for more information. There are various donor levels and benefits. If you want to go early to the Early Bird Market on Saturday the 14th, making a contribution is a great idea. This is an event not to be missed for the serious collector!
